Description

The prophet Iliijaa.

Acrylics on canvas. I’m not positive about the size… I think it’s around 30” long? Forgot to measure it. Painted in about 10-12 hours total.

The marks on the canvas are scratches and water spots. The paint was scraped away in places. I also used my fingers in smear the paint around in some areas.

This is the best I have ever photographed my acrylic work… for once I can happily say the photo does the colors justice!

It's just breathtaking. I love how you've played with colors and textures, and everything about her is as good as it could possibly get, both technically and aesthetically. Great work!

the colors the earthiness and intensity are great !
It's has it's own loose style. but I would like to see a little more transition from the face to the neck. the neck is so much flatter than the face that it's a bit abrupt. thats my only real crit.

Sweet. A great balance between looseness and rendered detail, though I agree with revelarts about creating a smoother face-neck transition. 'm loving your colors more than ever; the red hair is capital A Awesome. Somehow it seems her nose/the area around her nose is pushed in compared to the sides of her face. Maybe a bit more highlighting there?
Eh, whatever, this is pretty fantastic anyway.
